CRA Mayhem
It took me a while to realize that there was a pattern of the CRA over-charging me, and then when I paid, they would ammend the owed amount, but they would refund the difference to Tara. The number of assessments, reassessments, clawbacks highlight this pattern. I believe somebody at the CRA decided I was a bad guy and they decided to do what they could to get extra money to Tara.
By 2019 I was worn down by the non-stop craziness. The table below shows some of insane CRA activity around my GST and OTB credits:
My income has always been very, very straightforward. One job at a time, one source of income, nothing else. There is no rational explanation for this sort of activity on the part of the CRA.
